What is the platform fee?
The platform fee is a small charge applied to customers when they accept a quote. It is separate from the transport provider’s service fee, and it is only charged upon quote acceptance.
Why charge a platform fee?
The platform fee helps cover the operational costs of running our marketplace. It also enables us to invest in new features and improvements that support our goal of seamlessly connecting customers with reliable transport providers.
How much is the platform fee?
The platform fee is 3% of the accepted quote amount. The maximum fee is capped at $300, which only applies to high-value jobs. This fee includes GST.
Where can I view my fee?
Once you receive a quote, you can click the "Proceed to Accept" button to view a detailed price breakdown, including the platform fee.
Please note: Clicking this button does not confirm the booking—you can exit at any point before the payment step. This allows you to check the full cost before deciding whether to go ahead with the booking.
Will I be charged an additional platform fee if the job price increases after booking?
No. The platform fee is based only on the price at the time of booking. If the job price increases later (e.g. due to updated dimensions, weight, or location), the platform fee will not change, and no second fee will be charged.
What happens if I cancel the job?
If you cancel your booking, the platform fee will be refunded in full.
Can I get a tax receipt for the platform fee?
Yes, absolutely. To obtain a tax invoice:
Go to your job listing page
Click "Print Invoice"
The platform fee will be displayed on the second page of the invoice, along with the card fee (if a card was used as the payment method).
For business customers and premium business customers:
Business customers will only be charged the platform fee once—on their first booking.
Premium business customers have all platform fees waived entirely.
