Messaging Rules for Providers

  1. Sharing or requesting personal contact details, including but not limited to:
    • Phone numbers
    • Email Addresses
    • Full residential address (Suburbs are OK)
    • Company names
    • Personal names
    • Web addresses
    • Fax numbers
    • Facebook or other social media profiles
  2. Messages which state a quote value, before a formal quote for that amount has been placed
  3. Abusive, threatening, negative or defamatory comments directed at or about another user of Truckit.net
  4. Suggestions of taking negotiations outside Truckit.net
  5. Messages discussing or referencing Truckit fees or Site fees
  6. Messages that interfere in the Quoting and Messaging process of other providers

Quoting Rules for Providers

  1. Quoting a hourly rate or a unit value e.g Quote terms of "$50 per pallet" or "$35 per hour"
  2. Lowball quotes where a quote placed is significantly lower than a reasonable market value in an attempt to negotiate offsite
  3. Quotes must be all inclusive e.g. "excludes GST, fuel" (remember if the customer accepts your quote, you must honour it, providing their goods are as listed.)
  4. Using multiple accounts to quote against yourself

Reporting a Violation of these rules
