What is Book Now?

Book Now is a feature that lets you instantly book motorcycle transport at a fair price calculated by Truckit’s AI system. The price is based on over 8 years of data and tens of thousands of completed jobs.

You can either:

  • Accept the Book Now price and secure your booking, or

  • Continue to receive quotes from providers as usual.

What happens when I accept the Book Now price?

  1. Your payment is securely held in Truckit Pay.

  2. The job is shared with a select group of suitable providers who can instantly accept it.

  3. Providers are chosen based on:

    • Profile strength

    • Customer feedback

    • Location

    • Vehicle type

    • Verified insurance documents

If a provider accepts your job within 24 hours, it will be booked.

What if no provider accepts?

If you accept a Book Now offer very close to your collection date, providers may not be available to fit the job into their schedule. On rare occasions, we may not be able to find a match within 24 hours. In this case, your job will remain posted to our wider marketplace of screened providers who can bid for your job. 

What happens once a provider accepts?

  • You’ll receive their business name and contact details.

  • You can communicate directly with them about collection/delivery dates and vehicle type.

  • If you decide not to proceed after speaking with the provider, Truckit can cancel the booking and issue a full refund (subject to T&Cs).

Important Notes

  • Book Now applies to the motorcycle only – it does not include accessories or spare parts. Please do not accept a Book Now offer if you have extras.

  • Providers will only accept jobs they can complete within the dates you specify.

Terms & Conditions (Simplified)

When using Book Now, please note:

  • Accurate details are important: You must correctly describe your goods (size, weight, etc.). Extra charges may apply if details are incomplete or inaccurate.

  • Futile pick-up/delivery: If a provider arrives but cannot collect/deliver due to circumstances outside their control, extra fees apply.

  • Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up, the provider may charge up to 30% of the freight cost.

  • Demurrage: Delays in loading/unloading beyond 1.5 hours may incur extra fees.

  • Chain of Responsibility: Providers may refuse carriage of goods at their discretion if requirements aren’t met.
