When choosing a quote, there are many factors to consider, including but not limited to:
- Timing: Does the quote meet your dates or come within a reasonable time frame? Being slightly flexible with your dates can often get you a greater number of competitive quotes. Remember, providers are busy transport companies juggling a number of different deliveries, they may not be able to meet your dates exactly, but depending on your urgency you may be able to find a good deal if you are willing to wait a short period. Always check the quote carefully to read the collection and delivery dates as well as any notes or quote specific terms the provider may have placed.
- Service Type: Is the providers quote to deliver door to door, depot to depot, door to depot, depot to door etc. Please consider what is the best option for you, keeping in mind that being flexible will often result in competitive quotes.
- Insurance: Is the provider offering insurance with their quotes? They will usually state in their quote terms if they are including insurance but you can always message them to ask. If they aren't including insurance then you can get this added on at checkout as we have partnered with National Transport Insurance (NTI) who offers goods in transit insurance up to $50,000 on the website.
