Before booking a job, it is often necessary to clarify some details or ask a question of a provider via Truckit's messaging system. If a Provider doesn't respond to your messages on Truckit, there may be a number of reasons.
Some providers are sole traders or owner/operators, meaning they handle everything from quoting and messaging right through to driving the truck! This means there may be times of the day where they are on the road or out of service and are unable to respond to your messages. But don't let this turn you off, the friendly, personal service offered by an owner/operator will often shine through in the end.
If it's been a few days without a response, maybe try sending a polite follow up message, or if you are in a rush consider contacting one of the other providers who has quoted on your job to keep your options open.
