Sometimes a job may be different to what was described in the listing. This can happen due to factors like the size or weight of items being different to what was described, modifications to locations, or changes in loading facilities, among other reasons.
Truckit now offers a 'Request Increase' feature for jobs that use Truckit Pay as their payment method. It is advisable to reach out to your customer through the Truckit messaging system prior to submitting a 'Request for Increase' to ensure complete transparency.
To access this feature, navigate to My Jobs and select the job for which you need an increase. On the job page, you will find the option to 'Request Increase'. Input the additional amount, and you will see 'Your Take Home Amount', representing the extra amount you will receive for this job. Additionally, you will need to provide a reason for the increase as a reference for the customer.
After submitting the request, it will be sent to your customer, who will then need to accept or decline the increase. Having proof to support your request is beneficial. If there have been changes in dimensions or weight, you are advised to provide supporting documentation or photos. Once the increase has been approved, please finish the job and follow the usual procedure to Mark the job as Delivered and receive payment. Doing so will release your initial Provider Amount, along with any additional accepted Take Home Amount, to your designated bank account.
