Sometimes things change, perhaps you only ended up taking one item for the customer instead of two due to a change in circumstance. This is why Truckit Pay provides an option to 'Refund Customer' in the event that the job is still going ahead. 


*Note this is different to the Request Cancellation option which should only be used when the job is no longer going ahead. 



Refund CustomerRequest Cancellation
Used when the job is still going ahead but you want to refund the customer an amount.Used when the job is no longer going ahead.



To refund a customer please do the following:

- Login to your account

- Navigate to 'My Jobs'

- Click on the job you need to refund the customer for 

- On the right hand side of the page there will be a 'Refund Customer' button (as seen below)

- You will need to specify the amount you wish to refund to the customer and provide the reason.

- You will be prompted to confirm the refund, and once confirmed, it will be processed back to the customer's original  payment method. This will be subject to normal bank processing speeds which can take up to 5 business days to be finalised.
