Instant Rates are the pricing structures Truckit.net uses to calculate and publish Instant Quotes for approved Providers.


If you have been approved to operate Instant Rates, you will see a menu option in your account settings titled “Instant Quotes Rates.” Selecting this option will open your rate table editor.


If you are not yet approved and would like to be considered for Instant Rates on car or pallet listings, please contact support@truckit.net.


How to Add Instant Rates for Cars 

Must be done on the website - cannot be done on the app

  1. Click “+ Add New” to create a new rate.

From (Origin)

  • Select the origin region from the provided list.

  • Regions are defined by postcode ranges shown in brackets.

    • Example: Brisbane Metro (4000–4207) – any job collected from postcodes within this range will use this rate.

From Type:

  • Depot: Customer drops off the vehicle at your depot in this region.

  • Door: You collect the vehicle from the customer’s address in this region.


To (Destination)

  • Select the destination region from the provided list, also defined by postcode ranges.

    • Example: Sydney Metro (1000–2249) – any job delivered to postcodes within this range will use this rate.

To Type:

  • Depot: Customer collects the vehicle from your depot at this location.

  • Door: You deliver the vehicle to the customer’s address in this region.


Rate Fields

  • $ Car (Sedan, Hatch, Coupe):
    Enter your base rate for transporting standard cars from origin to destination.
    (Note: This is before Truckit’s service fee and any additional surcharges, such as Fuel Surcharge or GST.)

  • $ Light Commercial (4WD, SUV, Ute, Van):
    Enter your base rate for transporting light commercial vehicles.
    (Also before Truckit’s fee and surcharges.)


Transit Days

  • Enter the estimated number of business days required to transport the vehicle from origin to destination.

  • It’s recommended to include in your Terms & Conditions whether these times are estimates only or guaranteed.



Instant Quotes Settings

Within the Instant Quotes settings, you can upload your Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).

Important: Providing clear and accurate T&Cs is essential for managing customer expectations and protecting your business.
