Truckit allows providers to upload a document (PDF, JPG, or PNG) that outlines your full terms and conditions. This document will be sent to customers immediately after they accept any of your quotes.


Key points from your Terms & Conditions must also be included in the quote-specific terms when placing a quote, as these are the terms the customer formally accepts at the time of booking. This includes any information regarding fees.


All fees, such as Cancellation, Demurrage, or Futile Fees, must be clearly defined in your quote’s Terms and Conditions (Quote Specific Terms). This must be presented as:

  • A specific dollar amount ($), or

  • A clear percentage (%) of your transport costs.

Please note: Truckit’s service fees cannot be included in these amounts, as they are fully refunded to the customer in the event of a cancellation.

Truckit.net cannot process or charge any additional fees that were not clearly outlined in the original quote. 

Statements such as “Cancellation fees may apply” or “Futile/Demurrage charges will be incurred” without a defined amount or clear conditions will not be enforceable through Truckit.net.
